Progress Lakeshore Award!

Recently we were honored as recipients of the Progress Lakeshore Corporate Investment Award. This award is presented to companies or organizations recognized for economic development projects that enhance the quality of life in Manitowoc county.

Progress Lakeshore fosters regional collaborations to Retain, Grow, and Attract businesses to Manitowoc County. They offer a variety of business development services as well as entrepreneurial assistance while working to involve the community and engage the workforce. Their 8th Annual Excellence in Economic Development Awards Breakfast recognizes area businesses that have demonstrated leadership in one of five categories: Entrepreneurial Achievement, Community Enhancement, Corporate Investment, Neighborhood Development, and Economic Acceleration.

About Melissa Mosher

Melissa MosherMelissa has more than 15 years of Marketing and Communications Experience acquired from a variety of for-profit and nonprofit roles. Prior to Briess, Melissa worked for Kohler Co. as a Marketing Analyst managing affinity programs, vendor relationships, Sales and Marketing websites, and distributor newsletters. She also held a Marketing Specialist position at HSA Bank where she represented marketing in cross-functional communication groups and managed marketing campaigns. Prior to HSA Bank, she was Director of Admissions at a nonprofit artists’ community where she managed the residency program and application process, recruited applicants, managed grants, supervised chefs, and participated in strategic planning. At Briess, Melissa views marketing as a collaboration with the team and customers to find optimal solutions. She manages social media as well as the blog and creates multifaceted marketing collateral and communications.
