On my way up to Oskar Blues, I couldn’t help but be reminded of last year’s devastating flooding in Colorado. It was pretty incredible to see the residual damage from the flood on the way into the town of Lyons and also in Longmont/Boulder/Ft Collins areas even now nearly eight months after the flooding. A Google search for the flooding yields amazing results, and a Huffington post at the time of before and after the flooding in several locations really told the story.
Lyons has been holding community rebuilding meetings weekly at the OB pub since much of the local infrastructure is still in flux. If you’d like to help out, follow this OB Can’d Aid link.
