The leaves are turning at the brewery!

This week I stopped in to see our friends at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co, these guys are up to their eyeballs with their North Carolina expansion!  That’s not saying they are not busy at the original brewery campus in Chico as they had 20 beers on tap; ever had Clean Sweep or Single Hop 366?  I didn’t think so–you gotta go visit the brewery!

I also noticed a new crew of workers upon my arrival that I have not met before, a heard of sheep in the hop yard!  These critters have it soooo easy with their job just keeping the weeds down until next spring when the new shoots start coming up.  Evidently they live in the off season at a local farm of one of the worker bees at the brewhouse, what a great use of your hop yard in the off season!

I was assured that they will not be served in the dining room...
