Carabrown® Malt recipe is the Talk of the Town

Briess_DarkBeer

From now through the end of the year Carabrown® Malt is available from Briess and distributors (homebrewers, ask your lhbs to order some from their distrib). When our Technical Services staff set out to develop recipes using this relatively new member of the Briess malt portfolio, they landed upon a brown ale that showcases the smooth maltiness and slightly nutty flavor of Carabrown® Malt. Then they fittingly named it Talk of the Town. It’s an easy to drink ale, styled after Brown Ales found in Northern England. Go to the Briess Recipe Database to print the recipe as 3×5 cards or full sheet. Carabrown® Malt is a Maltster’s Reserve Series seasonal malt. We hope you try it. Cheers!
